Arbor Masters received my business after getting 4 bids to remove a tree which had died in my front yard. They conveniently left me a bid to do the removal of the tree, hauling of the wood, grinding of the stump. When I phoned the company to get details on what would be done and how since I was not home, the person on the phone answered all my questions perfectly.    

On the day of removal they had shown up, gotten permission from my neighbor to use his driveway, and took care of the tree in just one day. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, and called me afterwards to make sure I was satisfied.

Pat, I serve as the board president for a youth ministry (K-Life).  We own two houses at 79th and State Line and we are busily preparing for our fall semester.  As a result, we engaged Grant Kaegi to help us with a major “face lift” in advance of our fall kick BBQ later this afternoon.
 
The work was primarily tree trimming and sod installation, but Grant (of his own volition) took it well beyond our expectations.  He and his guys brought us plants, mulch, prepared beds, had dirt brought in, etc. In addition, he rearranged his schedule (when I know your firm had to be extremely busy with all the storm work) to meet our time line.  To say I am a more than a satisfied customer, doesn’t adequately express my appreciation!
 
I’ll close by saying the really fun part will be to see our staff’s reaction (they live in the houses during the school year) as well as the reactions of our kids and parents.  Grant thank you so very much.  You have certainly “paid it forward”.

Guys greeted me outside, all smiling, wearing clean work clothes (not a lot of that in this world anymore).
They walked the yard, determined who would do what, and proceeded. We watched out the windows in amazement. The job was *huge* but they kept “chipping” at it until it was done. When done, the foreman walked us around the yard and we asked several questions. He was totally confident in his team’s work. We asked for a limb in the back yard to be removed, after they were done, but he confidently showed us that it would make the tree lopsided. Sure enough, we then saw what he was talking about!

Remembering that they were already done and ready to go, yard cleaned up very, very well too I might add, in the front yard, we also asked for another limb to be removed. He said he could, but he would recommend a matching branch on the other side of the tree be removed to keep it balanced. It took them a few minutes more, after they thought they were done, to remove these two limbs, chip them up, and clean up.  No one complained. It was an awesome experience

Raffety referred you to me, I had absolutely no idea how wonderful your service would be. *As Brian Rex assessed my yard, he not only told me what your company could do, but gave me some great advice concerning what things I needed to do on my own. *When the crew showed up on the day of the work, I asked, "Is there anything I need to move out of the way other than my car?" They replied, "No, we'll take care of everything." * I left for work and when I came home, it looked like my house had experienced a face lift!! The trees had been pruned so beautifully! After this past week, as folks experienced an enormous amount of storm damage, I was so thankful to have already taken care of the trees surrounding my house. On Tuesday, 12/7/2010, we had a tree trimmed back in our backyard. It was done beautifully saving the integrity of the tree. My husband and I were very impressed. Lisa promptly came out and provided us an estimate. Agreed to the price and the crew came out within a few days. Despite the fact it was about 100 degrees that day, they did a fantastic job on all six trees. Careful not to disturb the surrounding planting beds and cleaned up to the point that when I came home that evening, I couldn't tell they had been out, except for the beautiful trees they had pruned. Second time I've used these folks and both great experiences.

This is a letter of thanks to you and the people of Shawnee Mission Tree for all of the help, consideration, and service you gave us during the recent ice storm. It was a particularly stressful time for my wife and myself with 2/3 of a 90 ft. oak tree lying in our back yard and the remaining 90 ft. section poised to fall on our neighbor's house. You came within a matter of days and safely took down the remaining section still standing, before it did any damage. It was done carefully and safely. You also removed the downed tree and pruned the broken limbs in our other oak trees in a professional and safe manner. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Arbor Masters, and specifically, Arlan Bebermeyer for a job well done. It seems that excellent customer service is becoming more of an exception than the rule. Arlan and his crew definitively fulfilled my expectation, and for that I am appreciative.

I requested bids from two other tree services. Arbor Masters was not the low bid, but Arlan definitely left the best initial impression. I presented the lowest of the three bids to Arlan in hopes that he would match it and was delighted to find that he not only matched it, but beat it. The work was started the first week of June and finished the first week of August. I know you probably don’t hear from many satisfied customers whose job took two months to complete. This job would be the exception.

Due to all the rain received this spring and summer in the Wichita area, the ground on my property was consistently wet. Arlan could have easily sent crews on days where the crew would have left ruts and torn up the property in an effort to get the hob done and get paid in order to move on the next job. Arlan was very good about keeping in touch with me on his crew’s availability and the conditions of the property. It may have taken longer than expected to get the job done, but the end result was definitely a positive one in my mind.

The work was done in a very professional manner with no damage to my property. I will enthusiastically recommend Arbor Masters and Arlan Bebermeyer to friends and neighbors who may need tree trimming or removal. Thank you once again for a job well done.

Glen Jennings, Certified Arborists, responded to my call immediately and set an appointment date and time to meet for an estimate. On the appointed day and exact time their trucks rolled up and the crew began their work. We used Arbor Masters Tree Service of Dallas. They showed up with a big truck. They had a crane on the truck, and they just loaded that stuff up.  They were here for about 45 minutes, and they just did a fantastic job.  Glenn came out himself for the initial estimate.  We talked about the tree, and he gave me a couple of different options.  One of the options was to just trim up the tree real tight.  Another option was to put a cable through the cracked limb of the tree and that saved the tree. Glenn was very professional when he was here.  We decided to just go with the high and tie price look, and they were very amenable.  They did a very nice job.  I felt like I got really more than my money’s worth from the service.  I absolutely had no problem with him.  I didn’t have to wait for him

On 02/17/2011, Kris Rasmussen came by to provide an estimate for trimming several trees in my front and back yards. Kris first surveyed all trees and provided an estimate that included cleaning up and trimming all of them by climbing them. When presented with the initial estimate, I informed Kris that it was more than I was prepared to spend at the time. Kris then reworked the estimate to include trimming all trees from the ground and climbing only 2 of the trees to remove larger, dead limbs and provide clearance from nearby power lines. I was pleased with the new estimate and scheduled the appointment for work to be performed at a time when I would be present; Kris was very amenable to this, as he stated that he wanted to make sure I got exactly what I expected. And I did.
Kris arrived as scheduled and began working promptly. He trimmed the trees exactly as I wanted them trimmed; he listened to what I wanted and offered advice when I was unsure of whether or not I wanted to keep certain limbs. He said he wanted to make sure I got what I wanted, and he actually backed it up. When finished, Kris cleaned up all debris, leaving only nicer looking trees behind. I am VERY pleased with the work and would definitely use Arbor Masters again.

Five live and three dead trees removed, cut several tree branches overhanging the house and generally removed low/dead limbs and raised the canopy. Cut some trees in the back yard into 18 inch lengths for firewood. I have an aluminum roof which was a concern for tree and branch removal near the house(ie branches falling on the house and foot traffic causing roof dents). The firm is fully bonded and insured. Arbor Masters sent Glen ,an arborist, out on Monday to give a proposal. On Wednesday, Glen, along with an experienced four man crew, a Peterbuilt hauling truck with it's own bucket, and a crew pickup for equipment showed up at 8:30AM. Jim, the crew foreman, was also an arborist. I really appreciated both arborists input during the project when it came to how much could be safely removed from a tree and how to go about the project in general. The crew turned out to be true professionals who were proud of their work and it showed. I was amazed at how the crew was able to stay off the roof and swing branches off the roof without roof contact. Four live trees removed were next to the house requiring advanced knowledge and skills to cut/remove without damage. Again, I was amazed at the crew's ability to solve seemly impossible problems without damage. The project finished in two days. My expectations were exceeded on this difficult and challenging job. Arbor Masters proved to have top notch people and equipment, always willing to listen and change to accommodate. - Angie's List.

I called them on a Saturday morning and Glen Jennings agreed to come and give me an estimate. He arrived at the time agreed and gave me an estimate. He said they'd be here on Monday around 9:30 am to do the job. I came home for lunch that day, and there was no sign they'd been there...no leaves, branches in the front yard or street. I walked around the house, and the trees were gone. The stumps were cut even with the ground, and the yard was totally cleaned up. I couldn't have asked for a better job. I would hire them again.

I'm not sure to whom to leave this comment with, so if this e-mail is not in the right hands, please forward it to the right people. I live in a home in the Park Glen area in Fort Worth, Texas. Today, your crew was out cutting the rest of our trees from the snow storm we had. I have never seen any work crew work as hard as yours - that' not that part that was special though. I happen to run a family childcare in my home and the kids could not stop watching from the door. One of your guys took the time to show the kids the mulch and the whole crew waved to them. My girls found no interest in the guy in the bucket going up but the boys sure did. The time for the kids lasted only about one minute of their whole time - but that one minute impacted them, that is all they have talked about today. Plus, I was able to teach a lesson from this today, we talked about trees and how they impact us and how the mulch would be used in gardens and so on. However, I got a valuable lesson today also; there are still people who take the time for others. If I ever find someone needing your services, yours will be the first one I recommend. I recently had the privilege of working with one of your employees, Mr. Grant Kaegi, in landscaping my parents home here in Olathe.  I wanted to take a moment to recognize Mr. Kaegi for his knowledge, talent, and kindness in working with my folks to create a beautiful landscape that resolved the water drainage and erosion issue presented to him.
 
The various personnel assigned to this project worked through record heat without any complaints and were very professional, helpful and polite the entire time.  Lisa McGrew's tree trimming crew did a great job in their approach to this project and Grant's design, use of materials and finishing touches reflected his years of expertise in landscaping and wealth of knowledge of trees and plants .
 
My Mother and Father are up in their 80's and this project with Grant's help brought a new spark to both of them.  For that I am very grateful.
 
I cannot say thank you enough for all the hard work, in such extreme heat, from all personnel involved.

Good afternoon Ron and Pat ,
I am writing you simply because of the great work that was done at my house just a couple months ago by your company.  It wasn't a small project by any means and I did my research having (3) companies to choose for this project.  Grant Kaegi was my main contact and made the decision to use Arbor Masters a lot easier as he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the whole project.  I didn't feel pressured or like I was being sold the wrong product just to keep the prices and overall cost down.  He acted as if it was going to be his own project, and what he would do if it was his landscape/trees etc... He was very prompt with everything and was always checking up on the work and progress daily which is re-assuring for the customer.  He actually made spending that much money a fun thing, which is a hard thing to do! :)

Being a business owner I feel that it is always necessary to make sure if a company has great people working for it, that they do indeed get recognized.  Working with every department  of Arbor Masters was a great experience, with the workers being very respectful and courteous.  One worker though that really stuck out and which really made this project come together was Napoleon.  He was simply amazing at what he does and was such a hard worker & very dedicated to making my new "park" look amazing.  A lot of the times workers cut corners, making it lot "OK" but not perfect.  That was the key difference as he was on top of it and you could tell he was very proud of what he did and how it all turned out.  Towards the end of the project Grant even let him pick his favorite boulder and where it was going to go.  You could just tell that made his day and the major dedication to his work.  The whole neighborhood is envious and is amazed how great it turned out!

I have attached a couple before and after pics just to show the amazing job your crew and Arbor Masters did for our Family! We couldn't be happier customers and will be spreading the word to all of our friends and family!

I just got home and saw the finished product.  It looks fantastic!  We are so pleased with how it turned out!  It has totally revitalized the yard and the 'curb appeal' of our home.  Thanks so much for working with us on the budget so that the landscaping plan could become a reality for us!  Hopefully we can spread the good word about Arbor Masters, the quality and service we received.

Yesterday our new patio was sealed, completing our extensive landscaping project with Shawnee Mission Tree Service. We would like to tell you that we are thrilled with our new back yard!

We had very high expectations and interviewed three landscaping companies and reviewed all the bids before making our decision. The cost difference was minimal. Tom Kolarik's presentation and design was by far the most professional and creative. We especially liked the attention he gave in solving our potential drainage problems.

Tom and his crew completed our grading and retaining wall very quickly with no inconvenience to us. Tom kept us informed of the progress and allowed us input on a daily basis. When we made last minute changes to our shrub and tree plantings, Tom found us everything we wanted. His professionalism and courteous manner made him a pleasure to work with and the result is so much better than we had hoped!We were so pleased that we decided to have Tom and his crew install a cobblestone patio in addition to our initial project. It looks incredible! All our relatives and friends are so impressed with the transformation of our yard, we can't wit to entertain this Spring and show it off!
