 Cabling and bracing are two techniques that arborists use to extend the life of a tree that has structural problems caused by neglect, storms or damage. In the early stages of a tree’s growth, proper pruning may have diverted the need for cabling/bracing. However, when the integrity of a tree (or limb) becomes compromised, cabling/bracing practices may be the most workable solution. |
