Keeping your valuable lawn and landscape healthy throughout the year is a priority for the professionals at Arbor Masters®. We have created a schedule of activities to help you do just that.  

January

  • Tree maintenance (clean, reduce, thin).
 

 February

  • Dormant oil applications for control of over-wintering insects.
  • Control of home insect pests (spiders, cockroaches, crickets, etc.).
  • Now is the time to plant spring pansies.
 

 March

  • Dormant oil applications to control over-wintering insects.
  • Spring deep root fertilization for trees and shrubs.
  • Lawn pre-emergent, fertilization application for broadleaf weed control.
  • Preventative application for early season leaf feeding insects and wood boring bark beetles.
  • Prepare your gardens for planting.
  • Remove dead plants and debris; cut back perennials.

  • Add a fresh layer of mulch and continue to cutback perennials.
  • Sign up for irrigation system turn-on.

  • Fall deep root fertilization for trees and shrubs (weather dependent on freezing conditions).
